Barely Carvallo announces their return with their upcoming third EP, Skylit Silhouettes, along with a revamped live lineup to support its release. The band has been known to consistently explore themes surrounding the contrast between light and dark through sonic and visual mediums. Skylit Silhouettes aims to embody the emptiness of the night sky, the illumination of Northern Lights, and the shadows created by their interplay.

Newer goth and heavier emo rock influences creep their way into the six songs, while not departing from the band's shoegaze roots.
“After playing several shows with songs from our first two EPs, I really wanted to focus on crafting a fuller, darker, and heavier atmosphere  through the layers and instrumentation of how these songs would be presented in live shows- which was an approach I had not considered in my earlier writing' says Ratzek.

The band had gone on hiatus in May of 2024 following the departure of two core members, but has returned in full force with new talent -notably, a new vocalist- and shows planned in 2026 onward.
